Scientific University library counts over 1,5 mln. books. The Library has several reference rooms, internet room, e-library and laboratory of computer technologies for 100 seats. To make studies practically oriented the training process is often realized by professors and practical specialists of the leading enterprises. The University has virtual laboratory, electronic books, special testing systems.

Social sphere is also one of the top-priority directions of the University development. The Campus of Tula State University is the biggest in the region, its territory unites housing buildings (dorms), sport buildings, medical center, canteen, cafes, resort center and recreation facilities.

The University has its own employment center that allows students to find a job they like.

A number of public organizations are available for students: student and sport clubs, University Museum, Armory Museums, Museums of Instrument, Geology and others. The University possesses the own periodicals. Being a part of Tula State University, 19 creative teams work there, you will easily find the hobby club there. The Campus of the University has 2 concert halls for 1226 and 200 seats and 500 square meter rehearsal rooms.

In recent memory students of Tula State University participated in Olympic Games and won 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal and in world championships got 25 medal places, in championships of Europe and World – 19 winning places and in championships and completions of Russia – 365 wining paces. 3 graduates of the University are Merited Masters of Sport, 11 are Masters of Sport of World Class, 49 graduates are Masters of Sport of Russia. Tula State University participates regularly in all School Olympics.
